Manchester United have officially completed the signing of 16-year-old midfielder David Eze from Manchester City, adding another highly-rated youngster to their academy setup. 🔴✨
Eze came through Manchester City’s academy and has already represented England at youth level. The talented central midfielder was attracting interest from several clubs, including teams from across Europe, but he has chosen to continue his development at Manchester United. 👀⚽️
The teenager has now made the move across Manchester and will begin the next stage of his development at United’s academy. He is initially joining on scholarship terms, with professional terms expected when he turns 17. 📝🔥
What makes the move even more interesting is the timing. Eze’s arrival comes shortly after United also secured the signing of another promising Manchester City academy midfielder, Karim Cassim. United are clearly putting serious attention on recruiting young talent from their local rivals. 😳🔴
Eze is also part of England’s Under-17 setup, with his name included in the Young Lions squad for the current international window. That gives United another exciting young international prospect to develop at Carrington. 🏴⚽️
For Eze, the move represents a major opportunity. Instead of leaving England for a European academy, he has decided to remain in Manchester and continue his football journey at Old Trafford. 🌟
Manchester United have been placing increasing emphasis on developing young players who can eventually make the step towards first-team football. Eze now has the chance to grow within that system and work towards becoming another academy graduate capable of making an impact at the highest level. 🔥🔴
At just 16, there is still a long road ahead, but United fans will certainly be keeping a close eye on this young midfielder. Could David Eze become the next academy gem to emerge from Old Trafford? 👀💎
The Manchester derby rivalry is already intense at senior level, but United are now making moves in the academy battle too. And with Eze becoming the latest young talent to cross from City to United, this developing story is definitely one to watch. 🚨🔥
