Barcelona’s attacking stars turned the international stage into their own playground, with goals flying in across Europe and beyond.
Raphinha stepped up for Brazil against Australia, confidently converting from the penalty spot to level the game at 2-2 before being substituted at half-time because of muscle discomfort. Brazil went on to win 4-2.
Then came Lamine Yamal. The teenage superstar delivered another statement performance for Spain, scoring twice as La Roja cruised past Croatia 4-1. His first goal arrived early, before he added another with a brilliant tight-angle finish in the second half.
Anthony Gordon also got on the scoresheet for England, heading home Trent Alexander-Arnold’s pinpoint cross as England defeated Czechia 2-0.
Three Barcelona attackers, three goals, and one seriously entertaining international night.
Lamine brought the brace. Raphinha delivered from the spot. Gordon made his presence felt in the air. The Barça attacking contingent is making plenty of noise away from club football.
And with these players returning to Barcelona carrying confidence from the international stage, Barça fans have plenty to be excited about.
Lamine Yamal: 2 goals
Raphinha: 1 goal
