FC Barcelona are not just building a team for today… they are building a Barça for the next decade! 💙❤️🚀
The Blaugrana have placed enormous faith in youth, and the current squad is becoming a fascinating mix of established stars and some of the most exciting young talents produced by La Masia. 🌱🔵🔴
At the heart of it all is Lamine Yamal. The superstar winger has committed his future to Barça until June 2031, giving the club a long-term cornerstone around whom the next era can be built. The teenager has already rewritten several age-related records and established himself as one of the most important players in the squad. 🌟👑
Then comes Pau Cubarsí! 🧱🔥 The young centre-back has extended his Barça contract until 2029, strengthening the club’s plans to have a homegrown defensive leader for years to come. Despite his age, Cubarsí has already accumulated significant first-team experience and continues to be trusted at the highest level. 💪🔵🔴
And Barça aren’t stopping there! 😮💨
Gavi is tied down until 2030, giving the midfield another player whose identity is deeply connected to the club. His intensity, character and technical ability have made him one of the defining products of the modern La Masia generation. 🔥💙❤️
The most exciting part? The next wave is already making its way into the first team. 🚨🌱
The 2007 generation has produced an incredible group featuring Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Bernal and Xavi Espart, players who actually grew up together at La Masia and are now sharing the stage at senior level. 🤯🏆
Marc Bernal’s return adds another fascinating piece to the puzzle, while Xavi Espart has already shown his versatility by operating in several positions under Hansi Flick. 👀🔥
And the current 2026/27 squad shows just how much youth has become part of Barça’s identity. Alongside Yamal, Cubarsí, Gavi and Bernal are players such as Alejandro Balde, Fermín López and Roony Bardghji, while more academy prospects remain around the first-team environment. 🌟🌱
This is bigger than simply handing youngsters opportunities.
Barça are creating continuity. 🔐💙❤️
Young players are being integrated alongside experienced figures, while long-term contracts give the club a core capable of developing together over several seasons. Flick’s willingness to trust emerging talent has only accelerated that process. 🚀⚽
From Yamal’s magic 🎩✨, to Cubarsí’s composure 🧱, Gavi’s fire 🔥, Bernal’s midfield potential 🌱 and Espart’s versatility ⚡, the ingredients for another special Barça generation are already sitting inside the club.
The future isn’t coming to Barcelona…
THE FUTURE IS ALREADY WEARING BLAUGRANA! 🔵🔴👑🔥
La Masia is alive. The youngsters are rising. And Barça are locking the doors behind them. 🔒🏆💙❤️
