João Félix reportedly wants to return to Barcelona, but a comeback could be difficult given the current situation at the club. 🇵🇹
The Portuguese forward previously spent time at Barça and showed flashes of his quality, but his spell ultimately ended without the club making his stay permanent.
Now, with Félix looking for his next move, Barcelona have been mentioned again in connection with the player. However, the club’s attacking options and squad planning could make a return complicated. 👀
Barcelona already have several players competing for attacking positions, while the emergence of younger talents has changed the balance of the squad. Lamine Yamal continues to occupy a major role, while Raphinha, Ferran Torres and other attacking options also remain part of the picture.
That leaves Félix facing a difficult question: where would he fit into Flick’s current system? 🤔
His technical ability, creativity and versatility are qualities Barcelona have appreciated before, but any potential return would depend on sporting priorities, finances and whether the coaching staff see a clear role for him.
For Félix, the desire to return may be there. ❤️💙
For Barcelona, however, wanting a reunion and actually having room for one are two very different things.
