Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their interest in Brentford winger Kevin Schade, with the Germany international emerging as a potential option for the Reds’ attack. 👀🇩🇪
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool and Arsenal were among the clubs showing the strongest interest in Schade as the summer transfer window approached its conclusion. Chelsea and Tottenham have also been linked with the 24-year-old.
🔥 And there is a major reason why Brentford are worried…
Schade has started the 2026/27 campaign in impressive fashion, scoring three goals in his opening five Premier League appearances as Brentford made an unbeaten start to the season. His performances have attracted increasing attention from some of the Premier League’s bigger clubs.
💰 Brentford are already trying to protect their asset. Schade has entered the final two years of his current contract, and the club have opened discussions over improved terms and a potential long-term extension.
Schade joined Brentford permanently from Freiburg in 2023 after an initial loan spell, and he has since developed into an important attacking player for the Bees. He has also established himself with the German national team.
👀 There is already some Liverpool history between the player and the club too. Schade scored Brentford’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Anfield in May 2026, heading past Alisson after Liverpool had taken the lead through Curtis Jones.
🔴 Liverpool monitoring. Brentford fighting to keep him. Arsenal watching.
The transfer battle could get very interesting if Schade continues producing at this level. For now, there is no confirmed Liverpool bid or agreement, but the Reds’ interest is clearly one to keep an eye on. 👀🔥
