The Italian giants are expected to explore the striker market next summer and Šeško has reportedly emerged as one of the names on their radar. Juventus are searching for a long-term attacking option, and the powerful Slovenian fits the profile they are looking for.
But there is one huge problem for Juventus: Manchester United still see Šeško as a major part of their future.
The 23-year-old arrived at Old Trafford with enormous expectations and showed flashes of exactly why United invested heavily in him. His first season produced 12 goals in all competitions, while his performances under Michael Carrick gave the club even more reason to believe there is much more to come from him.
United are believed to value Šeško’s pace, power, movement and ability to lead the line. At just 23, the feeling around Old Trafford is that his best years are still ahead of him.
Juventus may be watching. They may be preparing their plans. They may even test United’s resolve with a big offer next summer.
But United’s message appears to be simple: Šeško is not for sale.
And with Juventus now circling, the pressure could build quickly. If the Slovenian starts finding his best form again, his price could rise even further and United may have an even stronger reason to slam the door shut.
Juventus want Šeško. United want to keep him.
The summer transfer battle could already be heating up.
