Barcelona are heading into Saturday’s La Liga clash with Getafe with several players being monitored, but there is also good news on the injury front.

🔴 Raphinha: The biggest concern. The Brazilian suffered an edema in his right thigh during Brazil duty. Tests reportedly ruled out a serious injury, and he has been undergoing intensive treatment in Barcelona. He is hoping to return to group training, but whether he starts against Getafe remains uncertain.

🧤 Joan García: Barcelona are also being cautious with their goalkeeper. He has been working individually after his knee issue, although the latest reports suggest his recovery is progressing and he could be available.

🇳🇱 Frenkie de Jong: Big positive! De Jong has already completed part of training with the group as he continues his return. His workload will be monitored before Flick decides whether he is ready for competitive action.

🇩🇰 Andreas Christensen: Still unavailable after suffering a left-thigh strain. Barcelona have not given a definite return date, saying his recovery will determine when he can return.

🟢 Balde, Gavi, Eric García and Gabriel Jesus were already training on the pitch when Barça returned from the international break, which is encouraging for Flick’s squad depth.

The biggest question now is Raphinha. Barça don’t want to risk their top attacking threat unnecessarily, especially with a huge October schedule ahead featuring Getafe, Galatasaray, PSG and Real Madrid.
