Liverpool came out determined to make their home advantage count, and their pressure paid off in the 17th minute. Florian Wirtz unleashed a low effort that took a deflection off Pascal Groß and found the back of the net. Anfield erupted as the Reds took a deserved early lead! 🤩🔴
Just four minutes later, Liverpool struck again. Bradley Barcola used his pace to get beyond the Brighton defence before delivering a dangerous ball into the box, where Alexander Isak finished clinically to make it 2-0. 💥⚽

Facing his former club made the occasion even more interesting, but the midfielder remained focused on helping Liverpool secure all three points. ❤️👏
🛡️ LIVERPOOL SHOW THEIR FIGHTING SPIRIT!
Brighton threatened to make the contest uncomfortable, with Yasin Ayari seeing an effort strike the post. However, Liverpool’s defenders stood firm, with Ronald Araújo and Jérémy Jacquet producing important interventions to protect their advantage.
Despite Brighton pushing forward after the break, the Reds maintained their clean sheet and ensured there would be no late comeback at Anfield. 🔥🧱
