REMEMBER THE NAME: BRIAN FARIÑAS! 🇪🇸❤️💙
Barcelona’s famous academy continues to produce exciting young footballers, and Brian Fariñas is another name attracting attention after his impressive performance against Deportivo Alavés.
The youngster demonstrated remarkable confidence, composure, intelligence and maturity, showing exactly why Hansi Flick decided to promote him to the first team following pre-season.
Interestingly, midfield is his natural position, but Flick decided to test his versatility by deploying him at right-back against Alavés.
And what a performance he delivered! 👏🔥
Despite playing outside his natural position, Fariñas looked comfortable, made intelligent decisions and showed tremendous discipline.
Even more impressive was Flick’s decision to trust him with the entire 90 minutes on his senior LaLiga debut. That opportunity represents a significant moment in the youngster’s development.
Barcelona supporters have every reason to be excited about another promising product emerging from La Masia.
Of course, he still has plenty to learn, but his composure and versatility are encouraging signs.
