Who is keeping an eye on Carlos Baleba? 👀
The Cameroonian midfielder is becoming one of the most important figures in Manchester United’s midfield, but the growing concern is just how much responsibility is being placed on his shoulders!
Every time an opponent breaks through United’s defensive structure, Baleba is expected to step in, win the ball, close down the space and prevent danger. If he fails to make that crucial intervention, the opposition could find themselves with a golden opportunity to score. 🛑⚽
And that is exactly where the problem lies!
Manchester United’s defensive weaknesses are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. The team has struggled to maintain its defensive shape, leaving gaps that opponents can exploit. Instead of defending as a united force, the Red Devils have too often looked like a team relying on individual brilliance to survive.
According to recent football analysis, United’s defensive midfield has been a major concern, with the team struggling to protect its backline. Baleba’s energy, physicality and ball-winning ability could help address those problems, but even his impressive qualities cannot fix everything on their own. 🔴
The 22-year-old was brought in to strengthen United’s midfield and provide the defensive protection the team desperately needs. However, expecting him to rescue the entire defence every single time is asking far too much from one player.
A DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER CANNOT BE THE ENTIRE DEFENCE! 💥
United need their defenders to take responsibility, their midfielders to track runners and the entire team to defend with discipline. Baleba can help make the difference, but he needs support from the players around him.
The question now is whether Manchester United will finally build a solid defensive structure or continue putting all their hopes on one man.
Because if Baleba is expected to do everything, even the strongest midfielder will eventually struggle! 😤🔥
