While January is unlikely to see the same level of movement, the Gunners have previously dipped into the winter market, notably adding Jakub Kiwior, Jorginho and Leandro Trossard in 2023. Before that, Martin Ødegaard was brought in on loan from Real Madrid.
Interest in Zeno Debast
Reports suggest Arsenal are considering a move for Zeno Debast of Anderlecht, alongside Manchester United and another Premier League side. The 21-year-old centre-back has an €80 million (£69m) release clause, though Sporting CP could be open to negotiating a lower price. However, Arsenal will tread carefully after their protracted pursuit of Viktor Gyökeres earlier this year.
Real Madrid and Arda Güler
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal once explored the possibility of signing Turkish talent Arda Güler from Real Madrid. The club considered the move last autumn, but Madrid had no interest in selling, leaving the idea a non-starter.
Instead, Arsenal opted for a more experienced option in Eberechi Eze, who, while seven years older than Güler, offers proven Premier League quality. The decision reflects how far the squad has evolved since the days they signed Ødegaard in 2021.

With Andrea Berta now installed as sporting director, Arsenal are refining their recruitment strategy. The focus is likely to remain on balancing young potential with established performers, as the club builds towards another crucial summer window.
