Lamine Yamal has once again turned a big international night into his own personal highlight reel. The Barcelona teenager scored twice and provided an assist as Spain demolished Croatia 4–1 in the Nations League. 🔵🔴🔥
And the most frightening part wasn’t simply the scoreline — it was how difficult Yamal was to contain.
Spain needed just 70 seconds to take the lead. Yamal finished a flowing attacking move to put the world champions ahead before Croatia had even settled into the game. ⚡️
Croatia managed to equalise through Dion Beljo, but Spain immediately responded. Just three minutes later, Yamal produced the decisive pass for Marc Pubill to restore Spain’s advantage. 🎯
Then came the moment that had everyone talking.
In the second half, Yamal received the ball on the right, drove inside and somehow squeezed his shot into a tiny gap at the near post. The finish made it 3–1 and completed his brace. 😱🔥
The official Spanish federation confirmed the numbers: two goals, one assist, with Yamal directly involved in three of Spain’s four goals. Spain eventually completed the rout through Nico Williams in the 88th minute.
It was another reminder that Yamal is becoming increasingly difficult for defenders to neutralise.
He can stay wide.
He can cut inside.
He can create.
He can score.
And when defenders give him even the smallest opening, he can punish them. 🎯👑
Spain have now gone 40 consecutive matches unbeaten, while Yamal has scored in both of their matches since winning the World Cup. His latest performance has also further strengthened the Ballon d’Or discussion surrounding him.
At just 19, Yamal is already producing performances on the biggest stages that demand attention.
Croatia tried to stop him. The result? Two goals, one assist and a 4–1 Spain victory. 😮💨🔥
The kid just keeps getting better. 👑🔵🔴
