Lamine Yamal’s rise is becoming impossible to ignore. At just 19, the Barcelona superstar has already gone from teenage sensation to one of the central figures in Spain’s golden generation. 🔵🔴🇪🇸

And his latest international performances have only added more fuel to the Ballon d’Or conversation.

After helping Spain defeat England 3–2 at Wembley, Yamal once again delivered against Croatia, scoring twice as the world champions cruised to a 4–1 victory. The Spanish federation highlighted his performance as one of the major moments of their celebrations following the World Cup triumph. 🔥

Yamal’s current form is particularly eye-catching because he has been producing consistently for both club and country.

Barcelona confirmed earlier this month that he had scored in four consecutive LaLiga matches, registering seven goals during that run. He also matched a feat previously achieved only by Lionel Messi this century by scoring three braces across the opening five league games. 🤯⚽

Now the Ballon d’Or stage awaits.

Yamal is officially among the 30 nominees for the 2026 Men’s Ballon d’Or, alongside names such as Ousmane Dembélé, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham and Bruno Fernandes. The ceremony is scheduled for 26 October in London. 🏆✨

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has also publicly backed Yamal’s ambition, saying the teenager is confident, in excellent shape and producing at a very high level.

The numbers, the trophies and the individual performances are now putting Yamal firmly in the conversation.

And the scary part for Barcelona fans?

He is still only 19. 😳🔥

The next chapter of the Yamal story could be even bigger. 👑🔵🔴
