Lamine Yamal has once again reminded the football world why so much attention surrounds him after producing a sensational display as Spain swept aside Croatia 4–1 in the UEFA Nations League. 🇪🇸🔥

The Barcelona teenager wasted virtually no time making his presence felt. Just two minutes into the match, Yamal finished Álex Baena’s pass to give Spain the perfect start. ⚡️

Croatia managed to respond through Dion Beljo in the 28th minute, but Spain immediately regained control. Marc Pubill restored the lead before Yamal returned to the spotlight in the second half.

In the 63rd minute, the Barça star struck again to make it 3–1, before Nico Williams completed the scoring late on. 🇪🇸💥

That meant Yamal finished the night with two goals, while also contributing an assist, putting together a performance that earned him a remarkable 9.9 Sofascore rating.

What makes the performance even more eye-catching is the stage.

Spain were celebrating their return home after winning the 2026 World Cup, with the trophy presented to captain Rodrigo before kick-off. In front of more than 40,000 supporters at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, Yamal became the central figure of the celebration. 🏆🔥

And there was another fascinating detail for Barcelona supporters: Fermín López also started, meaning Barça had two of its young stars involved from the beginning.

Yamal was eventually replaced by Víctor Muñoz in the 68th minute after doing more than enough damage. By then, Spain had the game firmly under control.

At just 19 years old, Yamal continues to produce numbers and performances that would be remarkable for an established international, never mind a player still at the beginning of his career.

Two goals. One assist. A 4–1 victory.

Lamine Yamal is becoming impossible to ignore. 🔵🔴👑
