Liverpool’s 2026/27 rebuild under Andoni Iraola is beginning to take shape, and the arrival of Bradley Barcola has added another frightening dimension to the Reds’ attack. 👀🔥
The French forward joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain on a long-term contract after the Reds made him one of their biggest priorities of the summer. The deal could eventually reach around £123 million, showing just how highly Liverpool rate the explosive winger. 💰🚨
And Iraola made no secret of how much he wanted Barcola.
The Liverpool boss described the Frenchman as a priority signing and praised his desire to move to Anfield. Barcola can operate on either wing or through the middle, giving Iraola another extremely versatile attacking weapon. ⚡🇫🇷
Now imagine what Liverpool’s strongest XI could look like with Barcola fully settled into the team… 😳👇
🧤 Alisson
🛡️ Alexander-Arnold • Jacquet • Van Dijk • Kerkez
⚙️ Mac Allister • Wirtz • Szoboszlai
🔥 Barcola • Isak • Gakpo
Just imagine the chaos that front three could cause! 🤯🔥
Barcola brings explosive acceleration, elite one-v-one ability and the willingness to attack defenders directly. Isak offers movement, link-up play and ruthless finishing, while Gakpo provides size, versatility and the ability to drift between positions.
And behind them?
Florian Wirtz. 🎩✨
The German playmaker could become the creative heartbeat of Iraola’s Liverpool, constantly looking for the final pass while Barcola and the other forwards attack the spaces behind defences.
The frightening part is that Liverpool aren’t relying on just three attackers.
With Victor Muñoz, Rio Ngumoha and other young attacking options competing for opportunities, Iraola has plenty of alternatives when rotation becomes necessary. Liverpool specifically strengthened their wide areas during the summer as part of the squad rebuild.
And Barcola’s versatility could be absolutely crucial. Iraola has already highlighted his ability to play on either flank, meaning Liverpool can change the shape of their attack without necessarily changing personnel. 🔄🔥
There is also a potential opportunity for the younger players to make their mark. With Cody Gakpo currently dealing with an injury and Liverpool facing a packed schedule, players such as Ngumoha and Muñoz could receive more opportunities alongside Isak and Barcola.
Barcola himself has already made his ambitions clear: he wants to win the Premier League with Liverpool. 🏆🔴
If Iraola gets this attack clicking, Liverpool could become an absolute nightmare for Premier League defences. 😮💨🔥
Barcola + Isak + Gakpo + Wirtz… are Liverpool cooking something special at Anfield? 👀🔴🔥
