The improvement at Stamford Bridge is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, and the numbers before and after the international break tell a very interesting story! 📈💙
Just look at the difference:
🔴 BEFORE THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK:
❌ 2 wins
🤝 1 draw
❌ 2 defeats
⚽ 10 goals scored
🚨 12 goals conceded
🔵 AFTER THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK:
✅ 3 wins
❌ 1 defeat
⚽ 9 goals scored
🛡️ Just 3 goals conceded!
The biggest difference is not just the number of victories. Chelsea are looking much more organised defensively, conceding significantly fewer goals while maintaining their attacking threat.
Xabi Alonso appears to be getting his ideas across, with the team showing greater discipline, improved organisation and more confidence on the pitch.
The defensive improvement is particularly encouraging. Chelsea have gone from conceding 12 goals in five matches to just three in four games. That’s a massive step forward! 👏
Of course, there is still plenty of work to do, but the signs are becoming increasingly positive.
💙 Is Xabi Alonso finally building a Chelsea side capable of challenging for major trophies? Or is it still too early to get excited? 👀
