Joao Felix has strongly rejected the idea of returning to Chelsea, claiming that it would further harm his career. Currently on loan at AC Milan, Felix expressed relief at finally finding some peace, and criticized Chelsea for lacking faith in their players and falling apart internally.
Felix is expected to feature in AC Milan’s match against Bologna tonight, potentially his last appearance for the club. According to Calciomercato.com, this may be his final opportunity to change the narrative of a mostly disappointing loan spell. With Leao suspended and Pulisic rested, Felix will join Chukwueze in supporting striker Santiago Gimenez.
Despite a promising start—scoring in the Coppa Italia—Felix’s form declined, contributing only one assist in 15 games. Even with backing from coach Conceicao, he eventually lost his spot in the lineup. Given Milan’s ongoing search for a new sporting director and coach, it’s unlikely they will extend his loan.
Interest from Other Clubs
