Florian Wirtz has reached the stage where talk is no longer enough. Liverpool need to see the Wirtz we all watched light up Germany and Bayer Leverkusen. ✨🔥
The £115m superstar endured a difficult first season at Anfield, despite producing flashes of his quality. He finished the campaign with seven goals and eight assists, but his performances often fell short of the game-changing level expected from such a huge signing.
Now, however, there is a fresh opportunity. 👀⚡
With Andoni Iraola taking charge, Wirtz could be given the freedom he needs to operate as Liverpool’s No. 10, playing behind the striker and receiving the ball in those dangerous pockets where he can turn, dribble, create and unlock defences. Wirtz himself has indicated that the No. 10 position is where he feels strongest. 🎯🇩🇪
And that could be absolutely massive for Liverpool. 🚨
Wirtz is at his most dangerous when he is constantly involved: finding space between midfield and defence, combining around the box, slipping teammates through with perfectly weighted passes and arriving in scoring positions himself. When he plays with confidence, he doesn’t simply participate in attacks… he can become the player who controls them. 🪄🔥
There have already been encouraging signs during pre-season, including a goal against Leeds, suggesting that the German is ready to make a stronger impact this time around.
But the pressure is undeniable. Liverpool invested heavily in Wirtz, and after a disappointing fifth-place finish last season, the club desperately need their biggest stars to step up. Iraola has already identified unlocking Wirtz as one of the major challenges ahead.
This is why Liverpool fans need Florian Wirtz at his absolute best — and soon. 😮💨🔥
No more waiting for the magic.
No more glimpses.
No more “he just needs time.”
It is time for Wirtz to take responsibility, demand the ball and show everyone why Liverpool spent a record-breaking fee to bring him to Anfield. 💰🔴
Because if the real Florian Wirtz finally arrives consistently, Liverpool could have one of the most devastating creative weapons in the Premier League. 🌟🔥
The stage is yours, Florian. Now make Anfield fall in love. ❤️🔥🇩🇪
