Something is definitely shifting around Marcus Rashford at Manchester United. 👀🔥
The England international has reportedly changed his Instagram profile picture, and although a social-media update may look like a small thing, supporters have immediately started reading between the lines. ❤️📱
After an eventful period away from Old Trafford, Rashford is now back with Manchester United and appears to be embracing a fresh chapter under Michael Carrick. The 28-year-old spent time on loan at Aston Villa before moving to Barcelona, where he enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 campaign, contributing 14 goals and 14 assists in 49 appearances. 🇪🇸🔥
Barcelona ultimately decided against making the move permanent, meaning Rashford returned to Manchester United this summer. Carrick has since welcomed him back into the squad and praised his attitude, physical condition and work in training.
And now there is another interesting development. 👀
Rashford has changed his Instagram profile picture, with fans interpreting the move as another possible indication that the winger is ready to reconnect with the club and focus on what comes next. 🔴❤️
His return has already been made official on the pitch. Rashford came off the bench against Hull City in United’s Premier League opener, making his first league appearance for the club since December 2024.
United have also confirmed that Rashford will wear the No.9 shirt this season, while the No.10 has gone to Matheus Cunha. 👕9️⃣
That feels significant.
This is no longer simply about a player returning from a loan spell. It is potentially about Rashford rebuilding his relationship with Manchester United and proving that his best years in a red shirt are not behind him. 💪🔴
Carrick has spoken positively about Rashford’s return, and there is reportedly genuine belief within the coaching setup that the forward can become an important part of the new-look United side.
Of course, changing a profile picture does not automatically confirm anything about a player’s future. But when you combine it with his return to Carrington, his involvement in the first-team squad, his new shirt number and Carrick’s public backing, the picture becomes very interesting. 👀🔥
Could we be witnessing the beginning of the Marcus Rashford redemption era at Old Trafford? 🥹❤️🔴
One thing is certain: United fans will be watching every move from here. 👀
RASHFORD IS BACK. THE STORY IS FAR FROM OVER. 🔴🔥
