I don’t want to shock you, but just think about this for a second… Pedri has been part of the Barcelona story for seven seasons already! 😳⏳
The Canary Islander officially arrived at Barça in July 2020 after his move from Las Palmas, and what followed was nothing short of extraordinary. 🚀⚽ From a teenage prospect thrown into the deep end to becoming one of the most important midfielders in the Blaugrana squad, Pedri’s journey has moved ridiculously fast.
When Pedri made his competitive debut against Villarreal in September 2020, he was just 17 years old. Four years later, he had already reached 100 La Liga appearances, and by May 2025 he had passed the incredible milestone of 200 appearances for Barcelona. 🤯👏
And the craziest part? He still feels like a youngster! 😭🔥
Pedri has gone from learning alongside Barcelona legends to becoming one of the faces of the club’s new generation. His intelligence, close control, composure under pressure and ability to dictate the rhythm of a game have made him a midfielder Barça can build around. 🎯🧠
His first season alone was enough to show what kind of talent Barcelona had on their hands. Pedri played 52 matches in all competitions during the 2020/21 campaign, making himself indispensable almost immediately. 😮💨💫
Seven seasons later, he is still wearing that famous No. 8 shirt and remains a key member of Barça’s midfield. The official Barcelona squad still lists Pedri among the club’s first-team stars in the 2026/27 campaign. 🔵🔴👑
From a 17-year-old wonderkid to a midfield maestro… what a journey! 🥹❤️
And if Pedri stays healthy and continues developing at this rate, Barça fans could be watching the beginning of a genuinely legendary Barcelona career. 🌟🏆
SEVEN SEASONS. 200+ APPEARANCES. ONE PEDRI. 🔥🎩
Culers, be honest… where do you rank Pedri among the best midfielders of his generation? 👀👇
