Barcelona have started the new campaign with an attacking explosion, and the numbers behind their early form are beginning to tell a very exciting story.
After four LaLiga matches, the Blaugrana have already seen several players make major contributions in front of goal. Their perfect start continued with a ruthless 5-0 demolition of Valencia, with Lamine Yamal scoring twice, while Fermín López added a goal and two assists. Raphinha and Pedri also found the net.
Goals
Raphinha — 6
Fermín López — 4
Lamine Yamal — 4
Adeyemi — 1
Pedri — 1
Own goals — 1
Raphinha currently leads the scoring charts with six goals, continuing an outrageous start to the campaign. The Brazilian has become one of Barcelona’s biggest attacking threats and is proving that his goalscoring form is no fluke.
But right behind him are two of Barcelona’s brightest stars.
Fermín López has exploded into the season with four goals, while Lamine Yamal has also reached four. Their performances have been particularly impressive in recent matches, with both players heavily involved in Barcelona’s latest attacking masterclass.
Assists
Anthony Gordon — 4
Fermín López — 2
Dani Olmo — 2
Xavi Espart — 2
Marc Bernal — 1
Adeyemi — 1
Raphinha — 1
Pedri — 1
The assist numbers reveal another fascinating part of Barcelona’s attack: the creativity is coming from all over the pitch.
Anthony Gordon has already registered four assists, while Fermín, Dani Olmo and Xavi Espart have also contributed multiple final passes. That variety makes Barcelona increasingly difficult to defend because opponents cannot simply focus on one creative outlet.
And the chemistry between Lamine and Fermín is becoming particularly exciting. Their connection was on full display against Valencia, where Fermín produced a goal and two assists while Lamine scored twice in Barcelona’s emphatic victory.
Barcelona are four wins from four, sitting top of LaLiga with 12 points, and their attack is already producing frightening numbers.
Raphinha is leading the charge.
Fermín is exploding onto the scene.
Lamine is reminding everyone why he is one of football’s biggest young stars.
And with Barcelona still finding ways to improve, the scary part is that this attack may not have reached its full potential yet.
