Liverpool have officially named their starting XI for the Premier League showdown against Fulham at Anfield, and Andoni Iraola has wasted absolutely no time sending a statement! 😮💨🔥
🧤 Alisson
🛡️ Araújo, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Tsimikas
⚙️ Szoboszlai, Gravenberch
⚡ Víctor Muñoz, Wirtz, Barcola
🎯 Alexander Isak
The biggest talking point is the attacking firepower. 💥 Florian Wirtz, Bradley Barcola and Alexander Isak are all trusted from the start, giving Liverpool an exciting front line capable of causing Fulham serious problems. 🇩🇪🇫🇷🇸🇪
Barcola gets another opportunity to shine after impressing during his Champions League involvement against Atlético Madrid. The summer arrival had briefly raised injury concerns after being taken off, but Iraola confirmed it was only cramp rather than an injury. 🙌🔥
And then there is Isak. 👀🎯
The Swedish striker has already scored three Premier League goals and comes into this match full of confidence after finding the net in each of Liverpool’s last two games. Another goal against Fulham would further underline why Liverpool pushed so hard to bring him to Anfield. 🔴💣
Liverpool also arrive with serious momentum. After opening their league campaign with two draws, the Reds picked up a 2️⃣–0️⃣ victory over Ipswich before producing a dramatic Champions League comeback against Atlético Madrid. 💪🏆
Fulham, meanwhile, are desperate for a response. The Cottagers have lost their opening three league matches and head into Anfield still searching for their first point of the campaign. 😬⚪
But Liverpool cannot afford to switch off. Fulham will have nothing to lose, while former Liverpool defender Álvaro Arbeloa returns to Anfield looking for his first Premier League points as Fulham boss. 👀🔥
With Wirtz pulling the strings, Barcola attacking with pace and Isak leading the line, Liverpool fans will be expecting fireworks at Anfield. 🎇🔴
The Reds are locked in. Fulham are in the firing line. Let the battle begin! 🔥🏟️
