Barcelona came into the trip to Levante looking to maintain their perfect start to the LaLiga campaign, and Hansi Flick’s side once again showed why they are looking like one of Europe’s most dangerous teams right now. 💙❤️🔥
The Catalan giants started with confidence and quickly put Levante under serious pressure. The breakthrough came through 19-year-old Xavi Espart, who opened the scoring with his first senior goal for Barcelona. 🚀⚽ What a moment for the youngster! 😍👏
Then came the Lamine Yamal show. 🎩✨
The teenage superstar doubled Barça’s advantage after combining brilliantly with Raphinha before calmly finishing inside the box. Yamal then struck again from the penalty spot after the break, completing another sensational brace and taking his LaLiga tally to five goals. 👑🔥
At 3–0, it looked like Barça were cruising.
But Levante had other ideas. 😳
Barcelona suddenly lost some of their intensity and the hosts fought their way back into the contest, scoring twice to make it 3–2 and send serious nerves through the travelling Barça supporters. 😰🔥
For a few minutes, the unthinkable looked possible.
Then Karim Adeyemi arrived! 💨⚡
The German forward produced a brilliant individual run before finding the net in stoppage time to make it 4–2 and finally kill off Levante’s comeback hopes. 🥶🔥
Despite the scare, the result means Barcelona have now won all five of their opening LaLiga matches, giving them a perfect 15 points and putting them three points clear at the top of the table. 🏆🔝
And once again, the biggest headline belongs to Lamine Yamal. 👑🇪🇸
Two goals. Another match-winning performance. Another reminder that this kid is becoming increasingly impossible to contain. 🤯🔥
But there is also something for Flick to think about. Barcelona’s attacking football remains frightening, but allowing Levante to recover from 3–0 to 3–2 exposed defensive vulnerabilities that cannot be ignored against stronger opposition. 😬🛡️
Still, the mentality to survive the pressure, regain control and finish the job is exactly what champions need. 💪🏆
Yamal dazzled. Espart announced himself. Adeyemi delivered the knockout punch. And Barça remain PERFECT! 🔵🔴🔥
👑 Lamine Yamal: 2 goals
⚡ Xavi Espart: First senior Barça goal
🎯 Raphinha: Key creative influence
💨 Karim Adeyemi: Late match-sealing goal
🏆 Barcelona: 5 wins from 5 in LaLiga
