Barcelona fans, imagine waking up one morning and seeing Erling Haaland and Joško Gvardiol wearing the Barça shirt. 😭🔥 It sounds like football fantasy, but recent reports have put both Manchester City stars on Barcelona’s radar at different points.
The Haaland situation is particularly exciting. Reports suggest Barça are already thinking about a potential 2027 move for the Norwegian goal machine, with the club looking at him as a possible long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski.
And just imagine the partnership between Haaland and Lamine Yamal. 🤯
Yamal supplying the magic from the right.
Haaland attacking the penalty box.
Raphinha causing chaos on the other flank.
Pedri controlling everything in midfield.
That attack could be absolutely terrifying. 😮💨🔥
Then comes Joško Gvardiol. 🧱🇭🇷
Barcelona have previously enquired about the Croatian defender, with reports highlighting his ability to play both centre-back and left-back as one of the reasons he appealed to Barça.
Gvardiol would bring strength, pace, composure on the ball and defensive versatility to Hansi Flick’s side. He could potentially form a frightening defensive partnership with Pau Cubarsí, while also giving Flick another option on the left side of defence. 🔥🛡️
However, there is one major problem: Gvardiol currently has no clear desire to leave Manchester City. Barcelona’s previous enquiry reportedly did not turn into a transfer because the defender was happy in Manchester.
So this is certainly not a done deal.
But if circumstances at Manchester City change, the situation could become very interesting. 👀 Reports have recently linked both Haaland and Gvardiol with possible moves amid uncertainty surrounding City, although Barcelona have not confirmed any agreement for either player.

The thought of Yamal creating chances for Haaland is enough to give defenders nightmares. 😭💀
And if Gvardiol joins the defensive revolution, Barça could potentially have an elite young core at both ends of the pitch.
Yamal. Cubarsí. Pedri. Gvardiol. Haaland. 🌟
That is not just a team.
That is a potential European powerhouse in the making. 🏆🔥
