MARTÍNEZ REPORTEDLY EXPLODES AFTER RED CARD, BLAMES MICHAEL CARRICK AND A LAZY TEAMMATE! 🔥🔴

More controversy is reportedly emerging at Manchester United following Lisandro Martínez’s sending-off, with the Argentine defender allegedly expressing serious frustration over the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Martínez reportedly accepted that his challenge on Hato was careless and admitted that he disappointed the supporters. However, he allegedly believes that the situation leading to the red card was caused by a teammate’s poor defensive contribution.

The Argentine is said to be particularly unhappy with what he considers a lack of defensive commitment from the player, claiming that he has repeatedly been forced to cover additional ground and compensate for his teammate’s positioning.

In the alleged explosive statement, Martínez reportedly said:

“I know I let the fans down today with that careless foul on Hato, but the fact he didn’t say a single word to me is pure disrespect, especially when he was the one who caused the whole situation that led to the penalty.

“I already told him I hate pairing with him. He’s far too lazy for me to keep covering and making double runs. His total inability to track back is what actually caused the red card.

“So stop blaming me. Every bit of blame belongs to Carrick and that slow favourite player of his.”

If genuine, these comments would represent a serious dressing-room controversy at Old Trafford, potentially raising questions about player relationships, defensive organisation and Michael Carrick’s management.

However, there is currently no independent confirmation that Martínez made these remarks. The alleged quotation should therefore be treated with caution.
