Liverpool fans finally have some positive injury news! 👀💪

The Reds have been dealing with a frustrating injury situation early in the campaign, but several important players are now edging closer to a return.

Joe Gomez is expected to return to team training next week, giving Andoni Iraola another experienced defensive option. 🇬🇧🔴

Meanwhile, Giovanni Leoni and Federico Chiesa are both targeting returns around the upcoming international break. That could be a huge boost as Liverpool look to strengthen their squad depth. 💪🔥

However, there is still some bad news.

Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike are expected to remain sidelined for longer, meaning Liverpool will have to continue managing their squad carefully. The club’s official injury update confirms Bradley and Ekitike remain long-term absentees, while Chiesa is among those working toward a return.

🔥 GOMEZ’S RETURN COULDN’T COME AT A BETTER TIME

Gomez’s versatility could be particularly valuable.

The England international can provide cover across the defence, giving Iraola more options as Liverpool navigate a packed schedule. His return would also reduce some of the pressure on the players currently carrying the defensive workload.

And then there’s Giovanni Leoni. 👀🇮🇹

The young defender was signed with the future in mind, and his eventual return would give Liverpool another promising option at centre-back.

⚡ CHIESA COULD ADD ANOTHER ATTACKING DIMENSION

Liverpool supporters will also be eager to see Federico Chiesa back.

The Italian has had a difficult spell with injuries and limited opportunities, but his pace, directness and ability to attack from wide areas could give Liverpool another weapon once he is fit.

With the season moving quickly, getting players back isn’t just good news…

It could completely change Liverpool’s options. 😮‍💨🔥

For now, though, Iraola still has to deal with the absences of Bradley and Ekitike, with Liverpool’s injury list remaining a concern.
