Liverpool supporters could have another exciting young talent to dream about, with sensational claims suggesting that Nico Paz would be open to representing the Reds in the future.
The highly-rated Argentine attacking midfielder has reportedly expressed admiration for Liverpool, with the club’s history, legendary players and passionate supporters said to have influenced his childhood love for the Merseyside giants.
Names such as Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Xabi Alonso are particularly significant in the reported comments, highlighting the influence Liverpool’s previous generations have had on the youngster.
Liverpool’s interest in young creative talents would make Paz an intriguing name to watch, especially given his ability to operate behind the striker and create opportunities in the final third.
However, there is a major obstacle. Real Madrid retain a reported €80 million buy-back option for summer 2027, while Como insist that Paz remains their player. LiveScore +1
