Arsenal summer arrival Christos Tzolis has revealed that Cristhian Mosquera was the first teammate to make a genuine effort to help him settle into life at the club.
The Greek youngster admitted that several Arsenal players welcomed him and offered support from the moment he arrived, but Mosquera stood out because of the connection they developed during pre-season.
Speaking about the teammate who helped him the most, Tzolis said:
“There are a lot of guys that really try to speak, to help me from the beginning. I think Cristhian Mosquera was the first one. We started to talk, it was in the pre-season. He’s close to my age as well, so I can say Mosquera.”

Mosquera and Tzolis being close in age has clearly helped them build a connection, and it’s another example of the togetherness developing within Arsenal’s dressing room.
