Lionel Messi has once again reminded the football world that there are almost no rules when it comes to his genius. 😱🇦🇷
Inter Miami were battling against league leaders Nashville SC and desperately needed a way back into the game after falling behind. Then Messi produced a moment that looked like something straight out of a football video game. 🎮🔥
⚡️ MESSI STARTS THE CHAOS
The magic began outside the penalty area.
Messi received the ball and immediately faced a defender. What happened next was pure Messi. With his trademark close control and unbelievable change of direction, he sent the defender the wrong way before creating just enough space to unleash a powerful strike toward goal. 🤯💨
The goalkeeper somehow managed to get a hand to the shot and push it behind.
Corner to Inter Miami.
But nobody expected what happened next. 👀
🫣🔥 MESSI RUSHES TO TAKE THE CORNER
Instead of waiting around, Messi quickly made his way toward the corner flag.
He had already created the danger once.
Now he was about to create something even crazier.
Messi stepped up to take the corner himself, with everyone expecting a normal delivery into the crowded penalty area.
But Messi had other ideas. 😭🔥
🐐🎯 THE CORNER GOES STRAIGHT TOWARD GOAL!
Messi struck the ball with outrageous technique, sending it curling directly toward the Nashville goal.
The ball flew into the danger zone, bending viciously toward the net before finding its way over the line. 🤯🔥
GOAL!
A corner kick had turned directly into an equalizer.
The stadium erupted as Messi celebrated another ridiculous moment of individual brilliance. 🩷🖤🔥
😱 THIS IS WHY MESSI IS DIFFERENT
Most players see a corner as an opportunity to deliver the ball into the box.
Messi saw an opportunity to score.
That is the difference.
After beating his defender, forcing a spectacular save and winning the corner, he then decided to take matters into his own hands again.
One attack.
One shot.
One corner.
One unbelievable finish.
And suddenly Inter Miami were right back in the fight. 💪🔥
🐐 MESSI JUST KEEPS FINDING NEW WAYS TO SHOCK FOOTBALL!
At this stage, nothing Messi does should surprise anyone…
But somehow, he still finds a way. 😂🔥
A direct corner.
A ridiculous technique.
An unexpected goal.
And another Messi moment that will have football fans talking for a long time. 🐐🇦🇷🔥
