Manchester United must get their selection right when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, and there is one attacking combination that could cause serious problems for the Blues! 👀🔴
For me, Michael Carrick should seriously consider unleashing Matheus Cunha on the left wing, Amad Diallo on the right and Bryan Mbeumo through the middle as the central striker.
This attacking trio could bring something special to United’s game. Cunha has the technical ability, creativity and unpredictability to take on defenders, while Amad’s close control, movement and ability to create chances could make life extremely uncomfortable for Chelsea’s full-backs.
Mbeumo, meanwhile, has the pace, intelligent movement and finishing ability to punish Chelsea whenever opportunities come his way. He could be the perfect player to lead this attack. ⚡
But the real battle could be decided in midfield!
I’d love to see Carlos Baleba partnered with Kobbie Mainoo, provided Mainoo is fully fit and ready to start.
Baleba’s physical presence, aggression and ball-winning ability could give United the defensive protection they desperately need, while Mainoo’s composure, passing range and ability to carry the ball forward could help United control possession and dictate the tempo.
The combination could provide the perfect balance between defensive strength and attacking creativity. 💪
Chelsea will have home advantage, but United cannot afford to approach this game with fear. They must press aggressively, win their midfield battles, exploit the spaces behind Chelsea’s defence and take their chances when they arrive.
With the pressure already mounting on Michael Carrick following United’s disappointing results, this is the kind of performance that could change the atmosphere around Old Trafford.
One thing is certain: Manchester United need to show character, hunger and determination at Stamford Bridge! 🔥
UNITED FANS, WOULD YOU TRUST CUNHA, AMAD AND MBEUMO TO LEAD THE ATTACK AGAINST CHELSEA? AND SHOULD BALEBA AND MAINOO START TOGETHER? 👀🔴
