The big question is back on the table, and Manchester United fans have plenty to say! 🔥⚽
Should Bruno Fernandes remain at Old Trafford for another season, or has the time finally come for United to consider life without their Portuguese captain?
Since arriving from Sporting CP in January 2020, Fernandes has become one of Manchester United’s most influential players. His creativity, leadership, passion and eye for goal have made him a central figure in the team. ❤️
And his numbers speak for themselves! During the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, Bruno recorded 8 goals and 20 assists in 37 appearances, earning the Premier League Player of the Season award. He also equalled the league’s single-season assist record. 🏆🔥 Premier League +1
However, things have not always been smooth. His emotional reactions on the pitch, occasional frustrations and recent disagreements with manager Michael Carrick have also sparked conversations among supporters.
Interestingly, Carrick has confirmed that Bruno remains fully committed to Manchester United and will continue as club captain following discussions to resolve their recent disagreement. Reuters
But here’s where the debate gets interesting! 👀
Some supporters believe United still need Bruno’s creativity, experience and leadership if they want to rebuild and compete for major trophies. Others believe the club should start planning for a future with a different midfield structure and new leaders.
One thing is certain: replacing a player with Bruno’s influence will not be an easy task! 🔴
