21 YEARS OF THE GLAZERS: MANCHESTER UNITED FANS PREPARE MASSIVE OLD TRAFFORD WALKOUT! 🚨😳
Manchester United supporters are preparing to send another powerful message to the club’s ownership during Sunday’s Premier League showdown against Aston Villa at Old Trafford. 🔴
The protest is gathering momentum, with leaflets reportedly being distributed outside the stadium calling on match-going supporters to participate in a coordinated walkout in the 21st minute.
The number 21 is symbolic, representing the 21 years since the Glazer family completed their controversial takeover of Manchester United in 2005. Supporters behind the campaign believe the time has come to make their frustration impossible to ignore. 👀
But the walkout is only part of a much bigger protest!
The 1958 supporters’ group and other fan organisations are also encouraging supporters to wear the club’s traditional green and gold colours, release balloons before kick-off and avoid spending money inside Old Trafford.
Their grievances include the club’s ownership, mounting debt, concerns over ticketing policies, declining standards and the controversial plans surrounding the proposed demolition of the historic Old Trafford stadium. 🏟️
Interestingly, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are also facing criticism, with some supporters believing the changes under the new minority ownership have not delivered the improvements they expected.
This latest demonstration follows previous protests during United’s Champions League match against Roma, when green and gold balloons appeared around the stadium and tennis balls were thrown onto the pitch. The Sun +2
Meanwhile, the pressure surrounding the club continues to grow, both on and off the pitch. The upcoming Aston Villa encounter is attracting attention not only because of the football but also because of the growing anger among supporters.
One thing is certain: Manchester United fans want their voices heard, and the 21st-minute walkout could become another major moment in the ongoing ownership protests.
21 YEARS OF FRUSTRATION. 21ST-MINUTE WALKOUT. WILL OLD TRAFFORD EMPTY? 😳🔥
